The Problem

Most organisations have plans. Few have rehearsed the decisions.

When something goes wrong — a cyber attack, an outage, a safeguarding issue, a supplier failure — decisions get made by whoever's in the room. Teams don't fail on knowledge. They fail on the conversation.

What we test

How you respond — not whether you contained the threat.

Anyone can practise a task. The harder thing — the thing that breaks teams under pressure — is knowing how to respond. How you communicate, who owns the call, when you escalate, what you say to the board. That's what we put in front of your team.

How you communicate

Inside the room, across teams, and outwards to customers, regulators and press.

Who owns the call

Roles, authority and escalation — surfacing the gaps before a real incident does.

When you act vs pause

Speed under uncertainty. The cost of waiting versus the cost of acting too fast.

How you weigh trade-offs

Public trust, operational impact, regulatory exposure, financial cost — held in tension.

How bias shows up

Where assumptions, hierarchy and groupthink quietly steer the decision.

How you brief upward

Translating live information into something the board can act on.

How you recover

Reframing after a wrong call — without freezing, blaming or doubling down.

How you learn

What gets captured, what gets shared, what changes on Monday morning.

Every scenario branches into hundreds of possible paths. There's no single right answer — only better and worse ways of getting through it. The debrief shows the path you took, the paths you didn't, and where the reasoning started to drift.

Inside the platform

From the first decision to the boardroom debrief.

27 branching scenarios

Across 14 sectors — cyber, healthcare, retail, utilities, manufacturing, public sector and more.

Live impact metrics

Public trust, operational capacity, threat containment and £ cost shift with every decision.

Six-stage decision technique

The same framework used in high-pressure environments — teams learn the why, not just the what.

Facilitator console

Host console paired with a shared room display, discussion timer, voting and inject panel.

Decision-trace debrief

Every choice captured against the path taken — and the paths not taken.

Boardroom-ready exports

Branded PDF, DOCX and CSV packs with cost breakdown and decision-by-decision impact.

Auto-generated runbooks

The decisions made in the room become a reusable response playbook — grouped by NIST phase, ready to operationalise.

Build-your-own wizard

Spin up a bespoke scenario in minutes — your sector, your risks, your decision landscape.

How a session runs

Four steps. One room. Sixty to ninety minutes.

01

Pick a scenario

Choose from 27 branching incidents across 14 sectors — or use the wizard to build your own.

02

Brief the room

Share the situation, assign roles, pair the console with the room display.

03

Decide together

60–90 minutes. Discuss, vote, commit — watch trust, ops and £ cost shift live.

04

Debrief & export

Review the decision journey and download a branded facilitator pack.

See it in action

From decision to debrief — straight from the platform.

Real screens from a live session. Every choice is scored, every metric tracked, every alternative path made visible.

Live impact, every decision. Each call shifts trust, ops capacity, threat containment and £ cost — with an indicative spend split your finance lead will recognise.
Exercise complete debrief screen — Solid response with refinements, aligned to NIST CSF 2.0.
A debrief, not a verdict. Findings framed against NIST CSF 2.0 — Govern, Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, Recover.
Total crisis cost panel showing £539k total exposure split into immediate cash and long-tail damage across eight categories.
A defensible number, not a guess. Eight categories of exposure modelled from your final metrics, sector and time on incident — split into immediate cash and long-tail damage.

Boardroom-ready outputs

Exercise report screen with PDF, Word, PowerPoint and CSV download options plus a decision quality score.
Branded packs, four formats. PDF, Word and PowerPoint debrief packs plus a decisions CSV — generated from the run, ready for the board.
Incident response runbook preview grouped by NIST SP 800-61r2 phase, with steps, triggers, actions and owners.
A runbook built from the room. The decisions your team actually made in the session are turned into a reusable response playbook — grouped by NIST phase, aligned to ITIL 4 and ISO 27035.

The maths
